RATATOUILLE

Remy is a rat, constantly risking life in an expensive French restaurant because of his love of good food, as well as a desire to become a chef. Yet, obviously, this is a rather tough dream for a rat. But opportunity knocks when a young boy, who desperately needs to keep his job at the restaurant, despite his lack of cooking abilities, discovers and partners the young Remy. Its up to the two of them to avoid the insane head chef, bring the rest of Remy's family up to his standards, win his partner a girl, and, of course, produce the finest Ratatouille in all of France.

EVAN ALMIGHTY

The last time we saw Evan Baxter (Steve Carell), he was being tormented by rival Bruce Nolan onscreen, live from their Buffalo TV station. But as time passed and Evan has made up with Bruce, he's gone onto bigger and better things. Newly elected to Washington D.C. as a congressman, Evan has left Buffalo, New York in pursuit of a greater calling. But that calling isn't serving in the illustrious ranks of America's politics, but being summoned by the Almighty himself (Morgan Freeman), who has handed Evan the task of building a new ark, much as Noah did before. With time passing by and his family belittled by Evan's newfound realization, Evan will have to do the work that God has given him in what promises to be an unusual adventure for a man who just wanted to serve his country, might actually be serving humanity.

LUCKY Shia Saide LaBeouf !!

Yupe! A new topic to discuss about the lucky guy who has been appeared on big screen recently. Not once but twice with a gap no longer than one month. With the release of Transformers on 4th of July and the release of Disturbia on 28th of July, Shia Saide LaBeouf has been partnered with 2 different hot chicks.(most importantly of all, both also as his girl friend) Such a lucky guy to partner with 2 hot celebs and moreover he also have intimacy contact with both of the actress in both movies! What make him so special? Well, frankly speaking he is not that handsome after all~("cute" would be a more appropriate term) Or perhaps the director simply want all the guys watching these movies to knock their heads toward the wall and ask "why him?". Or maybe there's a great inspiration of moral value behind these; the director try to convey the fact that hot chicks or gorgeous girls not necessarily will fall onto macho and handsome guy only! Well, if that is the case, the message is being well conveyed! Well Done!

Basically both are in the field of model shot before this.

Sexiest scene of these 2 girls in both movies. Well, if i am Shia Saide LaBeouf, i wonder which movie i enjoy the most. either:
Disturbia: with a girl who is bright, smart(loves reading), calm(practicing yoga and swimming), need care and love?
Transformers: with a girl who is bold, daring, wild(teen party at the park), mechanic-minded(learned from dad), loves adventure?

Well, for me i guess if for romance love relationship, i would choose Sarah Roemer in Disturbia. However, for the sack of having eye-sight enjoyment Megan Fox would be the choice~ LOL

27 Jun - After months of anticipation and anxious discussions on Cinema Online's forum, the much awaited new cineplex in Melaka Mall finally opens in time for possibly the biggest movie of the year.

Operated by MBO Cinemas, this 7-screen cineplex on the 2nd floor is located within a shopping complex previously called Kota Mas, across the road from Jusco along Lebuh Air Keroh. After extensive refurbishment and a new image, Melaka mall aims to target a more hip and fun crowd.

"People in Malacca are very much looking forward to having more cinema choices. We hope to further enhance the variety and choices available here" says Toh Kim Hock of MBO Cinemas. Visiting film distributor Anna Ng of Buena Vista Columbia Tristar compliments it as having a "very daring and adventurous feel."

Decorated in various colours and schemes, halls range from a minimum of 130 seats to the largest with 212 seats. Some halls also feature family seats at the back row.

MBO Melaka Mall opens with Transformers, Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, Die Hard 4.0, Surfs Up, Hooked On You, Ghost Tunnel and Hot Fuzz. It is also MBO's 4th location after their 7-screen MBO Kluang opened in February this year, 10-screen MBO Galaxy Ampang and 3-screen MBO Amcorp Mall.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Two years after the previous film, as Reed Richards and Sue Storm prepare for their fourth wedding attempt, a mysterious, silver phenomenon streaks into Earth's atmosphere from outer space, radiating cosmic energy that creates massive molecular fluctuations in specific locations across the Earth. The government approaches Reed to build a sensor to track the movements of the phenomenon, and he secretly complies, hiding the fact that he has taken the contract from Sue to stop her from worrying.

The wedding begins, but in the midst of the ceremony, Reed's sensor detects the phenomenon approaching New York, causing a massive power blackout across the city. The silver streak destroys the sensor while the Fantastic Four protect the crowd from a helicopter that has fallen from the sky, and the Human Torch then pursues it across the city. Catching up to it, he discovers that it is a silver humanoid riding a "surfboard" of liquid metal, and is then promptly seized by this "Silver Surfer" and dragged into the upper atmosphere. As his flame snuffs out, the Surfer drops him into free fall, but he manages to reactivate his powers enough to survive the fall. An examination by Reed discovers that Johnny's exposure to the Surfer has caused his DNA to become destabilized, allowing him to switch powers with his teammates through physical contact. Tracing the energy of the Surfer - a cosmic energy similar to that which gave the team their powers - Reed discovers that the series of planets that the alien has visited have all been utterly destroyed.

The Surfer's circuit of the globe has restored an old enemy to life - Doctor Doom, having spent two years paralyzed as a metal statue, has been returned to life, albeit hideously scarred. He traces the Surfer to the Arctic and makes him an offer to join forces, but when the Surfer rebuffs him, Doom attacks with an ineffective electrical blast. The Surfer returns fire, blasting Doom through the ice, but as an unexpected side-effect, the cosmic energy of the Surfer's blast heals Doom's body. Ever the schemer, he proceeds to offer his services and the knowledge he has acquired on the Surfer to the American military, who force the Fantastic Four to work with him. Deducing that the Surfer's board is the source of his power, the group develops a four-part energy-pulse generator that will separate him from his board, and track him to his current location. While setting up the pulse generator, Sue is confronted by the Surfer, in which he reveals he is not the destroyer of worlds, only its servant. Regardless, the military open fire on the Surfer, and while he is distracted, the pulse is fired and the board and Surfer are taken captive.

The military imprison the Surfer in a remote gulag, and forbid the Fantastic Four from interacting with him, while they torture him for information. Sue, however, uses her powers to invisibly sneak into his cell, where she coerces more information from the Surfer. He tells her his master was known by the people of his world as Galactus, an entity which must feed on life-bearing planets to survive, and that his board is a homing beacon for Galactus to follow, which even now summons him to the planet.

Meanwhile, Doom betrays the military, donning a suit of armor containing a device that allows him to take control of the Surfer's board, and gains the alien's cosmic powers. Realizing they must get the board off the planet, the Four free the Surfer from his cell and summon the Fantasticar to pursue Von Doom. When they encounter the thief, Doom refuses to cooperate and the Four are forced to battle him to confiscate the board. Eventually the destructive chase leads to Shanghai where Sue is impaled through the chest by Doom when she attempts to protect the Surfer by projecting a large force field around them both, eventually killing her. As the Surfer is powerless to help, Johnny absorbs all three of his teammates' powers in order to become strong enough to defeat Doom. When he destroys Doom's machinery and separates him from the board, returning it to the Surfer's control, Ben (powerless) manages to knock Doom into the harbor using a crane, where he is seen sinking. However, Galactus (portrayed as a massive cloud-like mass containing a burning core shaped like his helmet, somewhat akin to Gah Lak Tus) has already arrived. His power restored, the Surfer revives Sue and decides to defend his newfound friends by flying into Galactus and destroying him from the inside with a massive energy blast, apparently killing himself in the process.

Realising that they will always have to live in the spotlight because of who they are and what they do, Reed and Sue are married in a small ceremony, which is rushed through by yet another emergency alert that the team flies off to attend.

Seconds into the credits, the film cuts back to a shot of the Silver Surfer's seemingly lifeless body floating through space. Just as he drifts off the edge of the screen, his eyes snap open, and his board races out of shot to reunite with his body.

刚上映不久的“宝贝计划”超级搞笑。
上映日期已近考试周，但首映当天，戏院门外依然“遍布”了MMU学生。
可见大家都非常支持成龙的影片。影迷包括了非华裔同胞。在如此紧要的关头仍然可以看见如此宏观的“看你吗”精神，实在感触不少。大家对观看电影仍然把持着同样的使命，好感动哦～
对于情侣来说，也许有些是因为女方非常喜欢可爱的BB而去捧场；
但是戏里的卖点肯定不止BB，也将父子情，亲情搬上大荧幕。。
成龙看见中风的父亲那刹那绝对让您痛入心底～
对于学生（尤其是考试的），也许起初纯粹为了减压而捧场；
但看了之后，绝对不会后悔，因为不但可以减压，还笑暴肚皮！

这次的“宝贝计划”也穿插了不少客串镜头～
当中包括了谢霆锋，吴彦祖等等。
效果绝对不逊！得自己去看看才能体会到～
哇哈哈哈哈铪～

最终Matthew还是抢了大部分的戏分，超可爱的混血宝贝！
